Petar Mihalchev was born in 1973 in Sofia. Since 1993 he worked as a chef in various restaurants with Bulgarian national cuisine, while in 1996 he headed the kitchen of a French restaurant. In 2002, he was a chef in Malta where he created his unique style of cooking by blending Balkan, French and Mediterranean cuisine. In 2008 he made the next step in his career by training for a sushi master in Tokyo, having diplomas and certificates for finished culinary in Bulgaria and Japan.
On March 3, 2015, bTV started one of the most dramatic and fascinating TV competitions - MasterChef. Petar Mihalchev was elected as a jury together with boss Andre Tokev and Chief Victor Angelov.

People refer to Theodosii Spassov as “the kaval player of the world”. Indeed, Theodosii Spassov’s fans all over the world form a very wide circle. Born on March 4, 1961 in the town of Isperih, he graduated from the Philip Kutev National School of Folk Arts in Kotel and then the Plovdiv Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts. He is acknowledged as a virtuoso kaval performer, who is capable of playing any folk melody with style. What makes him even more popular are his original ideas, the realization of which brings together musicians of diverse genres.
In 2011, he was presented with the highest honour of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, the Golden Age, for his significant contribution to the development and popularization of Bulgarian culture and traditional music. He was also granted with the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius by the Bulgarian state – first grade with collar, for exceptional contribution to Bulgarian culture (2013), the honorary title Doctor honoris causa by the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv (2014) and was named UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2015.

Prof. Dr. Diana Gergova is one of the most prominent Bulgarian specialists in Thracian archeology. She graduated in History and Archeology at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
Prof. Gergova is a longtime leader of the excavations at the Sboryanovo National Reserve and the Dionysus Sanctuary at Ostrets peak near Velingrad. In 2001, she was awarded the "Woman of the Year" award in the field of archeology and business at the American Biography Institute. He is the author of numerous books and over 200 scientific articles. He is a member of prestigious national and international organizations, including the ICOMOS - UNESCO National Committee, the Scientific Committee on Funeral Archeology - Braila and the World Archaeological Congress - Member and Coordinator for Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.

The band BALKANDJI was founded in the autumn of 1999 by Nikolai Barovski (keyboard) and Kiril Yanev (guitars).
